The Vision
Natalie and Thomas knew that they wanted their vineyard wedding reception to be something unique and special. They found the perfect venue in a vineyard near their home, The Vineyards at Aquebogue in New York, and began planning their event. The critical element of this theme was to bring the outdoors inside. They wanted to recreate the vines lining the outdoor area and accent them with white roses to stand out against the greenery.
The Decorations
Natalie and Thomas’ vineyard wedding reception was decorated with white and blush pink roses and lush greenery. Elegantize Productions continued the theme of vines by hanging greenery among the lights in lines across the ceiling, creating a truly magical feel to the ceiling décor. Tables were decorated with creamy white table cloths and tree pedestal centerpieces. These were created custom-made by Elegantize Productions’ talented team of event designers. The base of the tree is surrounded by moss-like grass with a skinny tree trunk billowing up and out into a large tree with assorted white and pink roses for pops of color amongst the beautiful greens. As a final elegant touch, vines were wrapped around the trunk of the tree, continuing to celebrate the beauty of the vineyard throughout the event. The main event and talk of the night was the Sweetheart table centerpiece built over the bride and groom’s table. Designed by Elegantize throughout a couple of days and built throughout a couple of hours, this is the first thing the guest’s would see when they enter this beautifully designed reception. Since all pieces are built by Elegantize’s team and florals are in-house, we were able to design a custom sweetheart table centerpiece over the couple’s dining table. Decorated with vines and various greenery and graced with dozens of white and blush pink roses. Florals
When it came to the reception decor, we wanted something that would be both beautiful and timeless. So, we decided to use a variety of flowers in shades of white and green. We used roses, hydrangeas, spray roses, and carnations for the bouquets. The wisteria flowers added a touch of whimsy, while the greenery helped to create a feeling of romance. We also used Ivy vines and silver dollar eucalyptus to decorate the reception space similar to the vineyard. Overall, we were thrilled with how everything turned out. The flowers were stunning and helped to create the perfect setting for their special day.
The Lighting
Everything has to be perfect on the big day, especially the lighting. After all, who wants to be caught in an unflattering light? That’s why we made sure to use only the best lighting for the bride and groom. We used LED lighting behind them to create a romantic atmosphere and natural votive & pillar candles on the couple’s table and guest tables. For the ceiling, we used hanging bistro lights to give the room a warm & intimate ambiance. With these special touches, the newlyweds will look back on their wedding day with fond memories.
It was an eventful and beautiful night that we were honored to be a part of. From the vision to the reality, we could not have imagined a more beautiful way to bring The Vineyards at Aquebogue to life within this reception. While we love to bring the visions of our clients to life, we love even more to be able to see the memories created beneath the greenery of the ceiling décor, the laughter under the one of a kind sweetheart table centerpiece, and the dancing–no matter how good or how bad–done on the vinyl floor wraps. These are the moments that transform the elegant décor into something magical. We wish Natalie and Thomas all the best in their married life together! Congratulations, Natalie and Thomas!
